The architectural hotspot of Rotterdam
Magnificent with an international appeal
Wilhelmina Pier is one of the architectural frontpieces of the Netherlands. The mix of historic warehouses and spectacular new buildings can compete with the cosmopolitan port quarters of Sydney, London and New York. Wilhelmina Pier has been nominated by the Harvard Graduate School of Design for the Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design for its progressive urban development.
The Erasmus Bridge, the New Luxor Theatre, the Cruise Terminal, Montevideo, Las Palmas, the World Port Centre, the South District Tower and Hotel New York have set the image of Wilhelmina Pier for a long time. The addition of New Orleans and The Rotterdam will transform the existing Wilhelmina Pier skyline.
